Update a Kitchen Cheaply with Grout Shield

Kitchens are one of the most popular rooms in a home to renovate. However, kitchen renovations can cost thousands of dollars. If you don’t have the money or are unable to save that much or don’t want to spend that much, there are ways you can renovate your kitchen, whether it’s in your home, hotel, restaurant, school, etc. that won’t break the bank.

One way to save is to not replace the tile flooring or backsplash in the kitchen. By simply restoring the grout, you can change the look of the kitchen.  Grout Shield has grout cleaners and grout sealers that can clean and seal and transform your grout and tile.

You or your staff can easily clean and restore tile without spending money on hiring outside help to do it for you. With Grout Shield, you can choose to keep your current grout color or you can change the color to give your room a whole different look.

Here are some Grout Shield products that can help revamp and update your kitchen:

Grout Shield Color Sealer – This product isn’t just a grout sealer, it allows you to match or change the color of the existing kitchen grout without having to remove any of the grout. You can also mix it in with grout to re-grout your tile if needed. This will change the color of the grout, seal, and protect it. With this product, we can match any color possible.

Grout Shield Maintenance Cleaner – If your kitchen grout is dirty, the cleaner is what you need for the job. It’s not harsh on grout and is pH balanced. Dilute the cleaner in water, damp your mop and towel dry. It’s easy!

Grout Shield Restoration Kit and Packages – A kit or package is the best way to fully restore a kitchen floor or backsplash. Grout Shield offers seven different package kits to help restore the look of grout. Each kit’s contents vary depending of the size of the job that needs to be done. The kits offer everything you need for a full restoration: cleaner, sealant, colors, chamois, brushes, and instructions.

A clean and bright floor or backsplash can make all the difference in a kitchen. A new grout color might even be enough to make your entire kitchen appear brand new! Don’t tear up the grout and tile. A restoration is possible with Grout Shield products. The team at Grout Shield can help you determine what products are best for your needs, preferences, and the current condition of your kitchen grout.

How Much Do You Know About Grout?

You likely have grout in many rooms of your home or business. But, how much do you actually know about the grout? Do you know what grout is? Do you know how to clean and care for it? If grout isn’t properly cared for, it will look dirty and can break.

Grout is a porous, and it is made from a cement or epoxy-based material that locks tiles together to keep out water. Grout fills in spaces between stone and tiles, which also gives the surface a better finished look. Grout makes floors, walls, counter tops, and backsplashes stronger by bonding the tiles together. Grout can also help prevent the edges of tiles from chipping.

All types of grout require maintenance. Grout Shield cleaners can clean all types of grout. Here are some details about different types of grout:

Sanded grout – This grout contains fine sand; it is most often used for seams 1/8” and wider.

Unsanded grout – This grout is a smooth blend of cement and powdered pigments mixed with water. This grout is usually used for seams less than 1/8” wide.

Epoxy grout – This type of grout can be both sanded in unsanded. Epoxy grout is resistant to most stains and chemicals, because it includes a hardener and an epoxy resin. It is usually used for tiles ½” or less. This grout is best used for heavily trafficked or exposed areas.

You can also choose and change the color of your grout. Your grout can be bold or neutral. Grout Shield’s color sealer protects your grout while also coloring it any color you want.

Grout Shield’s products can easily restore soiled grout lines to a “like new” appearance. Our grout cleaners safely lift stains and clean grout, while our grout sealers protect the grout from getting dirty and dull.
